This October, our Little Footprints children, parents and teachers from all centres came together as one big family! Themed ‘Little Steps Toward A Good Cause’, our children accompanied by their parents, participated in a 3 kilometres walkathon. Ms Julie Koh, our founder and Chief Executive Officer, welcomed the audience by giving an inspiring speech and presented a cheque to Ms Kaelyn Yeo, Manager of Fundraising and Sponsorship from Children’s Cancer Foundation. Next up, we had a zumba warm up session that was led by Ms Dona, our instructor from our enrichment program Dancing Toes. We also had a special guest that joined our dance team on stage, one of our LFP child!
The walkathon was flagged off by our Chief Finance Officer, Ms Dawn, on a high note. Led by Ms Julie, all LFP families started their 3 kilometres walk. Embracing the bright sun, it was a great sight to see our LFP families bonding and cheering each other on, especially when some of our children wanted to stop walking.
When the walk finally ended, children were racing to the carnival for the games, bouncy house and sports activities conducted by our enrichment program FIITercise. Fun fact: Most of our carnival game station props were made from recycled materials. It was amazing to see the different game booths created using everyday materials like egg crates, cardboard and water bottles!
We would like to thank our fellow LFP families, friends and team of teachers for making this event possible. We are ever grateful for the support and contribution to make this event a success!
